Update on ISE Pal's scarf

I made it to the halfway point on my ISE pal's lace scarf. You can't really see the colors to well in this photo.

I took this photo outside in the sun so you could see the purple shades better. I really like this yarn. I shall have to buy more....

Now I'm off to start on the other half...Knit on folks!

A Couple of scarves

This is my first "ruffle" scarf (please excuse the crappy picture). It was really fun to knit. I believe that pattern came from a Creative Knitting magazine, though I'm not sure which one. I bought 2 skeins of this yarn when I went on a Knitting Retreat last Nov. It's Malabrigo Worsted, the color is Lettuce. This scarf didn't even use 1 full skein. When I saw the pattern I thought it looked like lettuce leaves, then I remembered I had yarn that was called Lettuce....and so it was meant to be.

I love this scarf! I used Misti Alpaca Chunky and #13 needles. The pattern is free on their website. You only need one skein, unless you want to make it really long. This yarn is so soft. I have another skein in fushia. I just may have to make one more.

Brea Bag

Sh*tty Kitty sez "enough already, would ya please just leave me alone?"

This is the Brea Bag I made from a free pattern at Berroco.com. I used 2 strands of Patons Classic Merino Wool. The cables were a little tricky on this one.

Leaf Lace in progress

Here's the progress on my Leaf Lace Shawl...it will be a Christmas gift for my Grandmother. Her favorite color is green.

This is a picture of my owner. Her name is Precious, but I usually call her Sh*tty Kitty. You'll be seeing a lot of her...

Stash Enhancement

Yesterday when I got home from work this was waiting for me.......
I ordered these from Ebay. Mountain Colors Bearfoot, Rosehip on the right and Northern Lights on the left. These are destined to become Tiger Eye Lace Scarves.

I got these little beauties from my LYS, Knit Happens. The red is Kaalund Expressions, the color is called Poinsettia. This will be a shawl for my Aunt. The blue is more Schaefer Yarn Anne. Not sure what this will be yet. Probably a shawl. There's 560yds in this skein!

Making progress

Here's a picture of my pal's scarf. I'm using Schaefer Yarn's Anne. My pal likes purple and this is verigated purple. The pattern is the Lace Scarf from Nancie Wiseman's "Knitted Scarves, Shawls and Stoles".

Here's what it looked like a couple of days ago.
